Thanks to everyone who made the 2022 Kiwanis Canby Community Food & Toy Drive possible
Started by Kiwanis in 1958, the Kiwanis Canby Community Food & Toy Drive is a tradition that brings the entire community together. Many civic groups, church groups, scouting troops, businesses and individuals step up to volunteer and donate. In 2022 the community provided toys for 1,081 children, and food gift cards for 467 families. We served a total of 2,116 people!
This program serves residents who live within the boundaries of the Canby School District and who are not receiving assistance from another holiday program. We coordinate with the county-wide Clackamas Compassion in Action to ensure that everyone in the county gets the help they need. Ours is a totally local event – we do not get toys from the Portland TV toy drives or any other event outside our community. People who live alone and adults without children are eligible for food gift cards; we also provide gifts for children 0-18 years old. We do not require proof of need – all you need to do is fill out an application by the deadline and we will provide a food gift card, plus toys for kids 18 and under.
We are accepting donations for 2023
PayPal link will be available soon. Currently you can mail donations to: Canby Kiwanis Foundation (F&T), PO Box 1004, Canby, OR 97013
