Since 1938, Kiwanis Club of Canby has offered a helping hand to children. We subscribe wholeheartedly to the Kiwanis International motto, “Serving the Children of the World.” Our volunteer and fundraising activities are directed to activities that help young people.
We welcome new members from all walks of life who share our commitment to volunteering, serving our community, and having fun. Our members represent a mix of ages, genders, occupations, backgrounds, and interests. We are all passionate about making our community and the world a better place for children. Through unique and innovative service projects, we are “Serving the Children of the World.”
Kiwanis Club of Canby provided food and toys for 497 families during the Kiwanis Canby Community Food & Toy Drive in 2023. The entire community came together to help 2,192 children and adults.
How our club serves
Our major volunteer activities and programs start with the Kiwanis Canby Community Food & Toy Drive, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in the Canby School District, and the Kiwanis Kiddie Capers Parade (which opens the Clackamas County Fair). But that’s just the beginning. We also provide support and sponsorship to a wide variety of other projects, including scholarships for high school seniors, sponsorship of Scouting, and mentoring students in Kiwanis service leadership clubs – Key Club at Canby High School, Builders Club at Baker Prairie Middle School, and Terrific Kids in Canby elementary schools.
We're wrapping up our toy donation drive, and today is your LAST chance to make a difference.
📅 Bring your toy donations to the locations in this post and help us bring smiles to children in need this holiday season. Every gift, big or small, will help make this season brighter for families in our community.
📍 Drop off your donation by the end of the day Friday!
Let’s come together one more time and finish strong—because every child deserves a little extra magic this season. 💕
